Our client are a specialist within The Life Sciences fit out sector, have a requirement for a Pre Construction Manager.
 
A pivotal role within a growing business.  Reporting into the Head of Pre Construction.
 
Duties
 

• The Pre Construction Manager will receive the enquiries from clients / Client Representatives.
• Meet the client along with the companies in house Scientist to undertake a detailed fact find to get a greater understanding of what the client is looking to achieve. 
• Communicate this information on return to the inhouse Design Team to allow them produce some initial drawings. 
• Once the initial design has been approved by the client The Pre Construction Manager will arrange an internal meeting with all parties involved from Designers, Technical Services Manager and Estimating to ensure everyone is on the same page.
•  Once a detailed design, prices and programme have been clarified, then the Pre Construction Manager will chair an adjudication meeting involving the Directors before final sign off.
• Once sign off has been achieved the Pre Construction Manager will then call a meeting with the Contracts Manager & Quantity Surveyor to do a formal handover.

 
Previous Experience

• Ideally degree qualified
• Previous experience in a Pre Construction role or as an Estimator or someone with industry experience that is looking to move into a Pre Construction role.

Salary will depend on experience – A junior will be circa £50 – £60K, more experienced individual will be able to expect £80 K +++
