Simon joined the recruitment industry in 1998, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from over two decades working in the U.A.E, UK, and Australia markets in the construction sector.
He enjoyed an incredibly successful career building contract teams for other recruitment businesses before co-founding Harvey Jacob in 2007 with his wife Kate.
Simon is responsible for the UK business, and he continues to deliver permanent and contract roles to clients in the UK, whilst his primary area of expertise is building operations roles from site manager to construction director level, he is able to support commercial and preconstruction roles for clients by engaging his very trusted network of recruitment partners.
Kate joined the recruitment industry in 2004 previously having worked in Banking and Finance. She enjoyed several years successfully recruiting construction contract roles in the UK before taking a role with General Electric running their onsite recruitment team for Asia Pacific based in Australia.
On their return from Australia in 2007 she and Simon co-founded Harvey Jacob which is now a tried and trusted recruitment partner to the construction sector.
Kate is responsible for the US business as well as delivering to her area of expertise which is Project Managers and Site Superintendents in the Florida market.
Aaron joined the recruitment industry in 2019 after enjoying two years placing permanent and contract roles both in the UK, Central Europe and US. In 2021 he joined Harvey Jacob as a Resourcer and quickly moved into the role of Account Manager.
He is an integral part of the UK team and has proved himself key in supporting the success of the business. Working alongside Simon he ensures our key client accounts receive the very best service and continues to build strong relationships with our candidates.
Amy joined Harvey in 2016 and is one of our longest standing members of the team, she’s the first point of contact for our contractor’s post placement and ensures that they are onboarded and set up on the payroll.
She also takes care of credit control working with Simon and Kate to ensure the smooth running of the contractor process from onboarding to client invoicing. A valued team player Amy always proves herself to be a completely dependable member of the team.
